Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning Checklist
Kitchen
- Clean and sanitize all cabinets inside and out, including handles and edges
- Wipe down all drawer interiors and fronts
- Deep clean stovetop (remove grease, residue, and stains)
- Clean oven interior thoroughly, including racks and door
- Move and clean behind and underneath appliances (stove, fridge, etc.)
- Clean refrigerator inside and out (remove and clean shelves, drawers, and compartments)
- Degrease kitchen walls, backsplash, and doors
- Clean sink and faucet area (use a brush for the faucet base and drain)
- Sanitize countertops and backsplash
- Clean dishwasher inside and out, including filter and door edges
- Wipe all switch plates and kickplates
- Wipe down walls and baseboards
- Vacuum and mop the entire kitchen floor
Bathrooms
- Scrub shower walls, doors, and floor (use brush, natural cleaner, and magic eraser)
- Deep clean bathtub inside and out
- Disinfect toilet thoroughly (inside bowl, under rim, outer surfaces, and surrounding floor)
- Clean walls and baseboards using a magic eraser where needed
- Scrub tiles around the tub and shower, including grout lines
