Victoria Cleaning Service FAQs

Yes, please notify our cleaner(s) upon arrival about the amount of time you would like them to spend or your budget. Alternatively, you can inform a team member during your setup call. We will prioritize cleaning the areas you request.

Our online booking system provides a rough estimate of the cost of your service. The final price may vary based on the actual time spent on-site.

For residential services, invoicing is based on the total time spent on-site. If two or more cleaners are assigned, the invoice reflects the combined time worked by all cleaners. If the job exceeds the estimated booking time, you will be charged at your specific service rate (per cleaner) for each additional hour. Our rates are calculated per cleaner, meaning if two cleaners are on-site, the rate will be doubled, and it will increase proportionally for more cleaners.

We typically send a team of two cleaners. For larger homes, we send three or more cleaners as needed.

Yes we provide all supplies. Swept Space is equipped with the latest and most effective equipment in the cleaning industry.

Should you decide to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance via phone or email at info@sweptspace.com. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of 2 hours service.

Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning Checklist

Kitchen

• Dispose of any small debris or leftover items (upon request)
• Dust and wipe all accessible surfaces, including cabinet faces, light fixtures, and vents
• Clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, faucets, and backsplashes; detail grout and edges
• Clean inside and outside of all cabinets and drawers; wipe shelves, doors, and handles
• Clean interior and exterior of all appliances (microwave, fridge, oven, dishwasher)
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors; detail along baseboards and corners

Bathrooms

• Dispose of any small debris or leftover items (upon request)
• Dust and wipe vents, light fixtures, and high surfaces
• Clean and disinfect all surfaces including sinks, faucets, tubs, showers, and toilets
• Clean mirrors, glass, and light switches; polish fixtures and glass partitions
• Wipe inside and outside of cabinets and drawers; clean shelving and trim
• Vacuum and mop floors; detail grout lines, edges, and corners

Bedrooms

• Dispose of any small debris or leftover items (upon request)
• Dust and wipe all accessible surfaces, furniture, vents, and baseboards
• Clean window sills, trim, blinds, and interior glass (light glass cleaning only)
• Wipe closet shelves, rods, and doors (inside and out)
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; mop hard floors; detail corners and edges
• Spot clean doors, frames, and light switches

General Living Area

• Dispose of any small debris or leftover items (upon request)
• Dust all accessible surfaces, shelving, décor, vents, and high areas
• Wipe and polish furniture surfaces, tables, doors, and baseboards
• Clean window sills, trim, and interior glass; spot clean walls where possible
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture when accessible; mop floors
• Detail edges, corners, and entryways for a finished look

Laundry & Patio

• Dispose of any small debris or leftover items
• Wipe exterior and interior of washers and dryers; clean lint traps and vents
• Wipe shelving, baseboards, and walls; detail around and beneath appliances (if accessible)
• Sweep and mop laundry room floors; remove debris and cobwebs from patios or balconies
• Wipe railings, glass panels, and outdoor furniture (if present)

Final Tasks

• Ensure all areas are free of debris, residue, and personal items
• Sanitize high-touch areas including switches, knobs, and handles
• Clean visible fingerprints on glass, doors, and partitions
• Wipe remaining smudges or dust from walls, trim, and baseboards
• Vacuum or mop all hard floors and stairs (always last step before completion)
• Perform a detailed final inspection to ensure the property is move-in ready
